Besideo is a pet memorial product designed to help users hold memories and connections with pets who have passed away.

Besideo is not medical care, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, or emergency support, and it does not promise that a pet can be revived or truly return to the physical world.

California LED Fire is the legal operator of Besideo and is responsible for this Privacy Policy.

We may collect the following categories of information.

• Account information, such as your email address, Apple or Google login identifiers, and account ID.
• Pet profile information, such as your pet name, species, sex, relationship to you, timeline, impressions, and uploaded photos.
• Memorial content, such as letters, moments, text, photos, videos, and related remembrance materials.
• Usage and device information, such as app version, device type, logs, crash information, feature usage records, and security signals.
• Subscription and payment status, such as plan type, subscription state, and purchase restoration state.
• Website information, such as basic access logs and information you voluntarily submit through forms, waitlists, email subscriptions, or support requests.

We use information to provide, maintain, protect, and improve Besideo.

• Create, verify, and maintain your account.
• Create and maintain your pet memorial space.
• Generate and display pet portraits or memorial stages.
• Store and display letters, moments, photos, and videos.
• Process delayed reply features and related memorial experiences.
• Manage subscriptions, plans, purchase restoration, and usage permissions.
• Provide customer support and handle access, export, correction, and deletion requests.
• Protect service security, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and improve product stability.

We use push notification tokens, install-scoped device identifiers, notification permission status, and account association to send optional service notifications, such as letting you know when your Love Space generation is complete. We do not use push notifications for advertising, tracking, or selling/sharing personal data.

Some features may use AI or automated systems to generate portraits, replies, or other memorial content based on the information you provide.

AI-generated content is not your pet actually returning to real life, and it is not your pet literally speaking. It is memorial content generated from the materials you provide.

To provide these features, relevant pet profile information, photos, text, or memorial content may be sent to AI or generation service providers for processing.

Unless you give explicit consent, we will not use your memorial content to train third-party foundation models.

To provide and protect the service, we may share necessary information with or entrust processing to third-party service providers.

• Cloud infrastructure, database, and storage providers.
• Authentication and sign-in providers.
• AI model, image generation, or content generation providers.
• Payment, subscription, and app store providers.
• Crash monitoring, logging, security, and abuse-prevention providers.
• Basic product analytics providers, including Google Analytics for website traffic and usage measurement.
• Email, customer support, and user support tools.
• Website hosting, forms, waitlist, or mailing list tools.

Your pet memorial space, letters, moments, photos, and videos are private by default.

If you use family-sharing features, invited family members who accept the invitation may enter the same memorial space for the same pet.

The current version does not treat Moments as a public sharing feed and does not make your memorial content public by default.

We keep relevant information while your account or memorial space exists, unless you request deletion or we must retain certain records for legal, security, payment, or dispute-handling reasons.

Signing out does not delete your account, pet memorial space, letters, or moments.

If you want to delete your account, delete a memorial space, export data, or correct information, please contact us using the details below.

Depending on the laws in your region, you may have the right to view the information we hold about you, request export of your data, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your account or related content, withdraw consent, object to or restrict certain processing, or learn whether we sell or share your personal information.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information for advertising profiling purposes.

Besideo is not intended for children under the age of 13. If we discover that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete the relevant information in accordance with applicable law.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If there are material changes, we will notify you through the app, website, email, or another reasonable method.
