Delete Account
Use this page if you want to delete your Besideo account or cannot access the in-app deletion flow.
Delete in the app
Open Besideo in the app, go to Account Settings, and choose Delete Account.
The in-app flow may ask you to confirm your account email, confirm the request, and acknowledge that account deletion is permanent once completed.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app or the in-app option is unavailable, email support@besideo.com from the email linked to your account and say that you want to delete your Besideo account.
Include the email linked to your account and, if relevant, the pet memorial space you want removed. We may ask follow-up questions to verify identity and protect private memorial content.
What deletion covers
After verification, deletion covers your Besideo account, pet memorial spaces controlled by that account, letters, moments, photos, videos, and related memorial content, except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, payment, dispute, tax, backup, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Shared family memorial spaces may involve content from more than one person. We may need to preserve content that belongs to another account or ask for additional confirmation before removing shared content.
Timing
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 45 days unless a shorter legal deadline applies or we need a lawful extension.
Backup copies and security logs may remain for a limited period before routine deletion, but they are not used to restore your active account unless legally required or needed for security.
Subscriptions
Deleting your Besideo account does not automatically cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription.
You must cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription through the platform where you purchased it to stop future renewals.
